Wix review
Wix for UK dropshipping: what it really costs.
Wix is a website builder where you drag and drop the pieces into place. You can build your website free, and you pay for a plan when you want to start selling. Wix has its own dropshipping app, and DSers works with Wix too. This review covers what you get, what you have to add, and what a month really costs, all taken from Wix's own website.
- £16
- a month on the Core plan, paid for the year, plus VAT
- 2.1%
- plus 20p on each UK card payment through Wix Payments
- 14
- days to cancel your first paid plan for a full refund
Our review in short
Easy to build on, with its own dropshipping app.
Wix lets you build your website free and only pay when you start selling. Its Core plan, at £16 a month paid for the year, is the cheapest one that takes payments. For dropshipping it has its own app, Modalyst, and DSers works with Wix too. Everything here comes from Wix's own website, which we checked on 5 November 2026.
What you get
- A free plan to build your website on before you pay anything
- Its own dropshipping app, Modalyst, is free to add
- UK card fees are in pounds: 2.1% + 20p
- A full refund if you cancel your first paid plan within 14 days
- A free web address for the first year on most yearly plans
What to watch out for
- The Light plan can't take payments, so selling starts at Core
- Prices are only shown for plans paid for the year, and VAT is added
- Wix describes Modalyst's suppliers as brand names and US suppliers
- A business email address costs extra, through Google Workspace
What you really pay each month
Everything a Wix dropshipping shop pays in a month.
Choose a Wix plan and move the sliders to your size of shop. The receipt adds up the plan, the app that connects your shop to AliExpress, a business email address, your web address and the card fees on your sales.

How dropshipping works on Wix
Four steps, and Wix has its own app for the middle two.
- 01
Your Wix website
You build your website by dragging the pieces into place. Wix hosts it, and takes card payments from the Core plan up.
- 02
A supplier app
You add Modalyst, Wix's own dropshipping app, or DSers for products from AliExpress.
- 03
Products in, orders out
The app copies products into your shop, and when a customer pays, it sends the order to the supplier.
- 04
To your customer's door
The supplier posts the parcel straight to your customer, so you never handle the stock.

Questions
Your questions about Wix.
We checked these websites on 5 November 2026:
Can I dropship on Wix in the UK?
Yes. Wix has its own dropshipping app called Modalyst, and its dropshipping page also names DSers for products from AliExpress. To take payments you need a paid plan, starting with Core.
What does Wix cost a month in the UK?
Wix shows its UK prices for plans paid for the year, before VAT: Light is £9 a month, Core £16, Business £25 and Business Elite £119. Light doesn't include taking payments, so a shop needs Core or above.
What card fee does Wix charge?
Through Wix Payments, UK cards cost 2.1% plus 20p, and American Express costs 3.1% plus 20p. If you refund a customer, Wix doesn't give you back the original fee.
Can I connect more than one Wix shop to DSers?
No. DSers says Wix allows one connected shop for each DSers account.
