BigCommerce review
BigCommerce for UK dropshipping: what it really costs.
BigCommerce is an online shop you rent by the month, aimed at shops that are already selling a lot. Its plans are priced by how much you sell in a year, in US dollars even on its UK website. You build the shop yourself and add dropshipping with an app. This review covers what you get, what you have to add, and what a month really costs, all taken from BigCommerce's own website.

Everything here comes from BigCommerce's own website, which we checked on 5 November 2026.

How dropshipping works on BigCommerce
Four steps, with an app from its app store.
- 01
Your BigCommerce shop
You build your shop using one of BigCommerce's designs. BigCommerce hosts it and connects your card payments.
- 02
A supplier app
You add a dropshipping app from its app store, such as Avasam for UK suppliers, Spocket or Syncee.
- 03
Products in, orders out
The app copies products into your shop, and when a customer pays, it sends the order to the supplier.
- 04
To your customer's door
The supplier posts the parcel straight to your customer, so you never handle the stock.
